    Focused on children of ages 5-10, Gracie Finds Her Voice is a precious story written in rhyme to teach children the power of their voice and the physical and emotional struggles of keeping a secret.

    In Gracie’s adventure, she must stand up to a small secret a friend has asked her to keep, find personal power to overcome her fear of the secret, and find her voice to tell. This book teaches children the importance of not keeping secrets and opens a dialogue to ask if anyone has ever asked them to keep a secret.

    In an interactive dry-erase board on the back cover, they are encouraged to draw a secret they are not able to express verbally. Silence is one of the greatest tools of an offender and giving our children a voice is one of the most valuable lessons we can teach them to keep them safe.

    Grant Gets His Shield is a powerful story written in rhyme to teach children about personal power and boundaries. This book educates children to recognize that they have a right to their own personal, private space, and that this space should be respected by everyone they meet, even family members. Grant learns how to express his discomfort with an aunt’s affection of pinching his cheeks and kissing his whole face. In speaking truthfully about his emotions, Grant is able to reclaim his personal power.

    Forced affection is one of an offender’s greatest grooming maneuvers and teaching children about strong personal power and personal boundaries are valuable lessons to keep our children safe.
